Every skin tone, blush, mottled vein, and fingernail bed is built up through 8 to 20+ individually heat-set layers of Genesis paints. This painstaking process creates the translucent, lifelike depth you see in a real newborn.
Weighted for Realistic Feel
Fine glass beads and premium poly-fil are hand-packed into each baby, giving them a natural “dead weight” of 2.7–3.2 kg. They settle into your arms with the same floppy weight as a real sleeping newborn.

Strand by strand, premium mohair or human hair is micro-rooted into the scalp for a natural, soft hairline. Eyelashes are individually inserted for a delicate, realistic frame around each baby's painted eyes.

From Clay Sculpture to Living Art
Every Dolores Silicone baby begins its journey as a master sculpt — carefully selected for anatomical precision and the emotional expression that makes a reborn truly come alive. Only platinum-cured, medical-grade silicone is used for casting, ensuring each piece is hypoallergenic, incredibly durable, and beautifully soft to the touch.
Our artists then spend 20–60+ hours hand-painting each baby. Genesis heat-set paints are applied in 8–20+ translucent layers, building up the subtle warmth of newborn skin — from the faintest blue veins beneath translucent skin, to the rosy warmth of blushing cheeks, to the delicate mottling unique to each tiny body.
Hair is micro-rooted strand by strand, and fine glass beads are hand-packed to give each baby the weighted, floppy feel of a real infant. The result is a silicone baby so lifelike, it blurs the line between art and reality.
