Our silicone is 100% platinum-cured, hypoallergenic, BPA-free, and phthalate-free. It meets EN71 and CE safety standards, making it safe for all ages. Unlike tin-cured alternatives, platinum silicone does not yellow, crack, or degrade over time.
Hand-painted in 8–20+ layers
Every skin tone, blush, veining, and nail bed is built up in 8 to 20+ individual layers of heat-set Genesis paints. This meticulous process creates the translucent, realistic depth you see in a real newborn.
Weighted for a realistic feel
Fine glass microbeads and premium polyester filling are hand-packed into every baby, giving them a natural “dead weight” of 2.7–3.2 kg. They settle in your arms with the same soft weight as a real sleeping newborn.
Hand-rooted hair and eyelashes
Strand by strand, premium mohair or human hair is rooted into the scalp for a natural, soft hairline. The eyelashes are inserted individually for a delicate, realistic frame around each baby's painted eyes.

From clay sculpture to living art
Every Dolores Silicone baby begins its journey as a master sculpt — carefully chosen for its anatomical precision and the emotional expression that makes a reborn come to life. Only platinum-cured medical-grade silicone is used for the casting, ensuring each piece is hypoallergenic, incredibly durable, and wonderfully soft to the touch.
Our artists then spend 20–60+ hours hand-painting each baby. Heat-set Genesis paints are applied in 8–20+ translucent layers, building the subtle warmth of a newborn's skin — from the faintest blue veins beneath translucent skin to the rosy warmth of flushed cheeks and the delicate, unique veining of each little body.
The hair is rooted strand by strand, and fine glass microbeads are hand-packed to give each baby the weight and softness of a real baby. The result is a silicone baby so realistic it blurs the line between art and reality.
